Vicky’s awesome homeade mud and stone pizza oven

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Vicky has used her architectural design and knowledge of mud hut building to create her very own stone oven in her backyard!

The first “test” pizzas were officially cooked in the oven.

Many people have offered advice and have been inspired by Vicky to build their very own oven!

Coneybeare at Solar Power International in Anaheim

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Coneybeare attended Solar Power International this past week in Anaheim. We caught up with our friends from the Green Career Institute (Duncan Cleminshaw and Dr. Nick Carter) and met two new faces from GCI as well–Erin Repoli and Randy Castellanos.  We also saw our friends Peter Schenk from Canadian Solar, Francisco Machuca, Eric Johnson from Skyline Solar and “Green” Gene Okun from International Solar Consulting.

More details of the show can be found at the Solar Power International website. Over 900 exhibitors and 25,000+ attendees made it North America’s largest business to business solar show to date.
